With Sun Pictures bagging the rights of Vijay’s 50th film Sura, looks like the Ilayathalapathy is rocking! Sura has Tamannah starring opposite Vijay for the first time.
The film’s shooting has been progressing for quite some time. The unit has now moved on to Pondicherry where they will be camping for the next five days. Sources say that Tamannah and Vijay will be shooting for some important scenes. Also, a very vital fight between Vijay and the film’s villain Dev Gill will be shot here, our sources say.
In the meanwhile,the Vettaikaran director Babu Sivan is all set to direct his next film. The director says that he is in touch with a few leading stars in Kollywood and all of them have requested him to come with a storyline soon. Babu Sivan, who is working on a story, reveals that his next film would be of the action genre too.
According to him, Vettaikaran’s success was due to Sun Pictures publicity and Vijay’s super stunts. He says that action films have always been welcomed by the audience and hence he decided on this genre.
